Valleyview Gymnastics Club (VGC) is a not-for-profit organization proudly serving the community of Valleyview, Alberta, Canada. Our mission is to promote fun, fitness, and the fundamentals of gymnastics through a wide range of recreational and competitive programs for all ages and skill levels.

We offer a variety of programs, including:

• Xcel Bronze-Gold

All classes are led by certified, passionate coaches dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging training environment.

Our club is built on a strong foundation of gymnasts, coaches, volunteers, and families who work together to support athletes—from first-time tots discovering the joy of movement to experienced achievement-level gymnasts reaching new heights.

Our History

Valleyview Gymnastics Club (VGC) was founded in 1985 as a recreational gymnastics program, offering local youth an opportunity to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for the sport. What began as a grassroots initiative has grown into a thriving club serving athletes of all ages and abilities.

Over the years, VGC has called many places home—from local school gyms to the Valleyview Agriculture Building, and even the old Co-op grocery store. Each location played a role in shaping the club’s spirit and growth.

In 2018, VGC proudly moved into its permanent facility at the Greenview Regional Multiplex. This modern space has allowed the club to expand its equipment, enhance training opportunities, and grow its program offerings. 

​

From humble beginnings to a vibrant community hub, VGC continues to inspire and support gymnasts on every step of their journey.
